Gasuna Technologies was selected to present its technology at the World Liquid Gas Association's (WLGA) Global Technology Conference, held on 13 October 2026 in Istanbul, Türkiye, as part of Liquid Gas Week 2026.
The conference brought together technology innovators, industry leaders and LPG professionals from around the world to explore new developments aimed at improving the efficiency, safety and resilience of the liquid gas industry.
Gasuna's Founder and CEO, Suleiman Ahmed, presented a paper titled "From Reactive Distribution to Operational Intelligence: A New Approach to LPG Cylinder Asset Management."
The presentation explored how cylinder-level monitoring, real-time consumption data and workflow automation can help LPG suppliers move away from reactive delivery operations towards more informed and proactive supply management.
Bringing Intelligence to LPG Cylinder Operations
Despite advances in other areas of LPG distribution, many suppliers still rely on customer calls, manual cylinder checks and estimated consumption to determine when deliveries are required.
These approaches can create operational inefficiencies, unexpected gas run-outs and urgent deliveries, while limiting suppliers' ability to plan effectively.
Gasuna is addressing these challenges through its Cylinder Dock technology and integrated software platform, which enable suppliers and their customers to remotely monitor gas levels, track consumption and automatically generate refill requests when cylinder levels run low. By providing visibility into consumption patterns and anticipated demand, the system can also support better delivery planning and more efficient resource allocation.
Demonstrating Technology in Real-World Operations
During the presentation, Gasuna shared insights from its ongoing UK deployment with an LPG supplier, where the technology has already successfully generated multiple automated refill requests without manual intervention.
The deployment has also demonstrated the value of historical consumption data, helping suppliers better understand customer usage patterns and anticipate future requirements.
These early results provide practical evidence of how connected cylinder infrastructure can support more reliable LPG supply and reduce dependence on manual monitoring.
Exploring Opportunities Across the Global LPG Industry
Liquid Gas Week 2026, held under the theme "Resilience in a Changing World," provided an opportunity to exchange ideas with suppliers, technology providers and industry stakeholders from different markets.
Discussions during the event highlighted the common operational challenges faced by LPG distributors, including limited visibility of customer cylinder levels, reactive ordering processes and the need for more efficient delivery planning.
For Gasuna, the conference provided an opportunity to share progress from its UK deployment, learn from developments across the industry and explore potential opportunities for collaboration.
As Gasuna progresses towards wider commercial deployment, its focus remains on making cylinder-level monitoring and refill automation more accessible and practical for LPG suppliers and their customers.
